The Lind Solar Charge System is used in conjunction with the BB-2590 (not included) rechargable battery. The system consists of the combination charge control/DC output module, a PowerFilm™ #F15-3600 foldable solar panel and related cabling for complete connection between the battery, laptop and solar panel.
Lightweight portable solar power solution for powering these laptop models. Over-temperature shutdown with auto reset. Over current shutdown with auto reset after 10 seconds if input is present. Low battery disconnect. At 12 Vdc output turns off. Low input voltage cutoff. At 10Vdc input battery stops charging.
The charge/controller uses power obtained from the solar panel to recharge the BB-2590 battery. The excess power drawn from the battery is used to operate the laptop. A green LED is on when the DC output is on. The yellow LED flashes while the battery pack is being charged; is on continuously when battery is charged and is off when no input power is present.
